Job Description 

Responsible for leading the charge to drive technology strategy and technical capabilities for an Application ecosystem. Leverage deep understanding of business processes and technical building blocks to design application architecture that balances business and customer needs with technical non-functional requirements for resiliency, security and efficiency. Partners with application engineers to ensure the application ecosystem is engineered according to architecture vision and continuously evolve the architecture and application to meet changing customer and business needs.

Responsibilities

· Supporting the definition and implementation of Enterprise-wide IaC, CICD and DevOps patterns based on industry best practice

· Supporting the definition of roadmaps for common pipeline shared libraries

and curating their development

· Working with product engineering teams to support the implementation of

team level DevOps roadmaps

· Driving the migration from physical/virtual servers to a cloud-based environment

· Contributing to the maintenance and delivery of the feature backlog for the

DevOps Centre of Excellence

· Defining and delivering automated solutions for monitoring and dashboarding

· Working with Systems Architects and Development Leads to ensure software

solutions are cloud-ready

· Working with Enterprise infrastructure teams to determine direction of new

DevOps tooling and plan rollouts

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

• Bachelors – Computer Science or related

• Extensive Software Development, Software Engineering, Technical Architecture or related

• Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of proficient on the Dreyfus architecture scale

Preferred Qualifications

· A proven background in software delivery automation

· Experience of software-at-scale in the cloud

· Experience of Java development and architecture patterns

· Knowledge of containerisation platforms and container orhestration tooling

like Helm and Docker

· CICD Pipeline Automation using Jenkins DSL (scripted or declarative)

· Experience of Asset Repositories e.g., Nexus/Artifactory

· Experience of DevSecOps tooling like NexusIQ, SonarQube, Contrast

· Exposure to a flavour of Git, including common branching strategies, version control solutions and repository housekeeping

· Linux
