The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) is one of the leading research-intensive academic health centers in the nation, serving the population of Southeast Texas and the Houston Suburbs. Adult Allergy/Immunology Faculty:  The UTMB Division of Allergy and Immunology, Department of Medicine is actively recruiting an energetic and enthusiastic full-time Academic Clinician with experience and interest in adult allergy and immunology.  The selected candidate will focus on the clinical care of adults with allergic and immunologic disorders in the outpatient clinic setting and an inpatient consult service.  This candidate will be expected to devote their time to clinical care, the teaching/mentoring of students, residents, and fellows.  The position includes active involvement in the fellowship program and candidates are encouraged to pursue scholarly activities.  UTMB serves a diverse patient population in Galveston, League City and Clear Lake, Texas as well as with the Texas Department Criminal Justice Hospital (Hospital Galveston).   

Position Qualifications:

•       MD or equivalent degree.
•       Allergy/Immunology Fellowship training. 
•       Board Certification or eligibility in Allergy/Immunology.  
•       Ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas state medical license.
